School districts can reduce energy costs and direct more money into the classroom by incorporating energy-efficient equipment and systems into and major renovations—these upgrades may also contribute to improved learning environments. Energy Trust of Oregon is hosting a special training event in Coos Bay to discuss strategies for sustainable school design.
