Advanced lighting controls workshop for design and building professionals
- This event has passed.
Advanced lighting controls offer the opportunity to balance the visual environment, enhance space flexibility and improve occupant satisfaction while saving significant amounts of energy and improving maintenance cycles. Designing and implementing these high-quality control systems can also help differentiate contractors and designers from competitors.
In this free one-day, hands-on workshop, brought to you by Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) and Energy Trust of Oregon, participants will learn industry best practices and strategies before tackling an example project. This comprehensive workshop, offered through Lighting Design Lab, will introduce participants to modern lighting control strategies and equipment with instruction on how to effectively implement them in various projects. The workshop will cover system design, installation, sequence of operations and startup. Training participants will then apply these best practices to design demonstration systems and program the controls hardware of two industry leading manufacturers.
