Energy Trust’s Existing Buildings program has made it easier for trade allies and their customers to confirm whether equipment qualifies for cash incentives. Equipment requirements were previously only available by downloading and reading through PDF applications, but now requirements are posted directly on each incentive page, with no downloads needed.

Where to find the new equipment requirements

On each incentive category page – like foodservice, HVAC and water heating, grocery and insulation – you’ll now see a new “Requirements” tab.

Here’s how to view equipment requirements:

1. Go to the incentive page for your equipment category
2. Scroll down and click on the “Requirements” tab next to the “Incentive Details” tab
3. Review all the eligibility details right there on the page – no download required

This update is designed to save time, reduce confusion and help ensure you’re recommending equipment that qualifies for Energy Trust incentives.
