EPSTM New Construction to offer new incentives in 2025

Energy Trust’s EPS New Construction program will launch its 2025 offers early next year, using the 2023 Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC) as baseline. Changes in 2025 will include updated incentive amounts and new bonus offers.

The EPS team has finalized incentives, but they will not be official until Energy Trust’s board of directors approves the 2025 budget, which is expected to happen in mid-December 2024.

Whole-home energy use incentives will range from $1,000 for homes that are 5% more efficient than code to $3,350 for homes that are 20% more efficient than code.

Solar Incentives

Builders will be able to receive bonus incentives for solar + storage (S+S) installed in model homes and for net-zero model homes in 2025. Incentives will increase for S+S in non-model homes and for net-zero non-model homes. Solar ready, S+S ready and solar EDA bonus incentives will remain the same in 2025 as in 2024. See the table below for more details on the new and updated incentives.

Net-zero model home$5,000
