Enphase is launching a program that allows customers to replace their existing microinverters with updated technology by contacting eligible installers to complete the work. The program is available to all customers that installed M190, M210, D380 and M175 microinverters. Solar trade allies can choose to participate in the program and those who opt in will be able to offer one of the following three options at a set low cost.

Option 1 – Microinverter Upgrade
Option 2 – Full System Upgrade
Option 3 – Next-Generation Upgrade

According to the Enphase website, taking advantage of these upgrades will give customers the benefit of updated technology with “massively [improved] product performance and reliability” as well as improved grid support capabilities. Customers who increase their system capacity as part of the upgrade program may be eligible to receive Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) or Energy Trust cash incentive.
