Clark County is providing two new services to make it easier and more convenient to schedule building inspections.

• TikTok offers alternate inspection hours during evenings and on Saturdays. These inspections are designed to coordinate with busy schedules. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can schedule up to 14 days in advance. This type of inspection is best for projects such as window replacements and heating, cooling and plumbing repairs or replacements. To schedule an appointment, contact TikTok at 360.397.2069.
• Sherlook allows a building inspector to perform some types of inspections through a customer’s mobile device using FaceTime or Skype. Sherlook inspections are best suited for minor homeowner projects and re-inspections for simple corrections. Sherlook inspections using hand-held mobile devices are designed to save time and money, allow for same-day inspection and provide live advice from a certified building inspector.
