After several years of using a 3-star rating system for Residential and Solar trade allies, Energy Trust transitioned to a 5-star rating system on October 28, 2019. This shift was based on customer feedback and industry standards. No action is required from trade allies.
The chart below summarizes the shift in ratings from the previous 3-star system to the new 5-star system. Partial ratings were rounded up to their equivalents under the new rating system. For example, if your previous star rating was 2 your new rating is 3. If you were a 3-star trade ally you are now rated at 5 stars.
