Earth Advantage & EnerCity Collaborative has launched a new website with support from Energy Trust of Oregon. This website, titled Oregon Residential Construction Career Hub (the Hub), helps bridge the employment gap in the residential construction industry by connecting employers with prospective workers interested in aligning their careers with the growing demand for energy efficient homes.

The Hub offers an employer page with the ability to:

• Post jobs at no cost.
• Get involved in workforce development initiatives.
• Learn about workforce training programs.

In addition, the Hub also supports new prospective employees in finding helpful career resources. Job seekers can:

• Search job postings.
• Explore career pathways.
• Find trainings and credentials.

Earth Advantage & EnerCity Collaborative train over 300 new workforce entrants each year, working closely with Energy Trust and workforce development training partners across Oregon. The Hub serves these trainees with clear next steps to enter the industry and gain valuable skills in high performance building.
