Roundup of Energy Trust 2017 incentive changes for all programs


Energy Trust updates incentives on January 1 of each year. The following is a complete list of Energy Trust incentive changes for all programs that went into effect on January 1, 2017. If a measure is not included, it remains unchanged.

New Homes, Southwest Washington

As of January 1, 2017, the New Homes program will update EPSTM incentives to align with the new Washington State Energy Code that went into effect on July 1, 2016. Incentives are based on improvements in the home’s annual gas energy use over minimum code requirements, as demonstrated by energy modeling. Incentives for gas-heated homes are available based on a sliding scale of performance above code, starting at 10 percent. Incentives will vary depending on energy-efficiency improvements. Verifiers will still be eligible for a $100 cash incentive for each qualifying EPS home submitted to the program.
