On April 1, 2021, Energy Trust of Oregon reduced its smart thermostat incentive to $80 for customers installing their own qualifying devices. However, this reduced incentive does not apply to thermostats installed by a licensed contractor. Qualifying smart thermostats installed by Home Retrofit and Multifamily trade allies are still eligible for a $100 incentive. This incentive can be issued to your customer or listed as an Energy Trust instant incentive as an immediate discount off your customer’s invoice.
