Energy Trust EPS™ New Construction team added five new members in the past 18 months. Read on to acquaint yourself with the team members who support verifiers and builders.
FIELD SERVICES TEAM
Zach Erdmann, Field Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector Zach conducts third-party field QA site visits to verify the installation of energy-reduction measures and compliance with EPS offering standards, primarily supporting the I5 corridor between Salem and Medford. He brings over 20 years of home performance contracting, auditing and QA experience to his role. He also holds a BPI Quality Assurance certification. |

Cheryl LaCombe, Field and Operations Manager Cheryl has over 16 years of experience in energy efficiency and holds LEED AP and HERS certifications. She serves verifiers and builders in Southern Oregon, and oversees all field and operations activities. She has implemented both retrofit and new construction programs, incorporating successful program strategies. |

Greg Lasher, Verifier Account Manager Greg supports the new construction builder and verifier network in Southwest Washington and the Portland area. He brings 12 years of experience in building science, having worked for energy-efficiency contractors in the Portland area. Greg supports local homebuilders’ associations and has a background in sales and management. |

Casey Phillips, Quality Assurance and Training Specialist Casey conducts third-party field QA site visits in Southwest Washington to verify the installation of energy-reduction measures and compliance with EPS offering standards. He also processes third-party field QA documentation for all regions, in addition to providing training for EPS subcontractors, builders and verifiers. Along with QA, Casey provides workforce training for various partners around Oregon. |

Laura Klement, Eastern Oregon Workforce and Outreach Specialist Laura supports builders in Eastern Oregon, primarily in Baker City, Ontario, La Grande and Joseph. She also supports workforce development for high schools and pre-apprenticeship programs through green construction training. She has 15 years of experience in the industry, including design, solar installation and education, construction and energy efficiency consulting. |

Jesse Holland, Verifier Account Manager Jesse supports the new construction builder and verifier network in Central Oregon, primarily in Bend, La Pine, Madras, Prineville, Redmond and Terrebonne. He brings 19 years of experience in energy efficiency program implementation, having worked on numerous energy efficiency programs in Oregon and across the Western U.S. Jesse supports local homebuilder associations and has a background in operations and account management. |

Shaun Hassel, Verifier Account Manager Shaun is a Portland-based account manager with expertise in building science and training. He has worked in the construction and energy efficiency industries for 20 years. He began his work as an Account Manager for Energy Trust of Oregon in August 2021, and is excited to meet and support EPS New Construction trade allies in the Portland area. |

Todd Blackman, Verifier Account Manager Todd supports verifiers and builders in Eastern Oregon, primarily in La Grande, Hermiston, Pendleton and Stanfield. Todd has a long history and strong background in building science and energy efficiency, covering a broad range of applications and technologies. As an account manager and business developer, Todd works closely with area verifiers and builders seeking new opportunities for partnerships and growth in EPS New Construction. |
OPERATIONS TEAM
Sarah Nuamah, Incentive Lead and QA Analyst Sarah's primary roles are to conduct QA review of home energy models and coordinate incentive processing to help ensure implementation of the program. She also supports EPS with process improvements and invoicing. |

Uber Hernandez, Trade Ally and Incentive Coordinator Uber processes documentation and provides insight on program processes and incentives, supporting new trade allies. He is a technical reviewer for EPS and guides individual projects from application to completion. Uber also manages the trade ally hotline and email queue. |

Abbie Zubyk, QA Analyst Abbie performs QA reviews for homes submitted to the EPS program and ensures that they are completed in a timely manner. She also supports the development of energy efficiency measures. |

Atharva Hiray, QA Analyst Atharva works with the operations team to ensure QA tasks are completed on time and accurately. Additionally, he conducts site visits to verify the installation of energy-reduction measures and compliance with EPS offering standards. |

Joe Wagner, Operations Manager Joe manages the workflow for the operations team, reviews homes for file QA and oversees incentive processing. Joe also provides data analysis and technical support, working closely with the field team to support builders and verifiers. |

Anna Hilbruner, Technical Consultant Anna provides technical modeling guidance to the program and consults on AXIS, Ekotrope and REM/Rate™ development and support. Anna is an EPS representative in the Northwest Modeling Group and technical consultant for measure development. Anna started her own consulting company, Elise Energy Solutions, last year and has a background in residential and commercial energy efficiency. |
