The Existing Buildings custom path offers incentives for Energy Information Systems, EIS, and Energy Management Systems, EMS.
EIS is a web-based software, data acquisition hardware and communication system used to store, analyze and display building energy data. It often includes analysis methods such as base lining, benchmarking, load profiling and energy anomaly detection. EMS is a system of computer-aided tools and sensors used to monitor, control and optimize the performance of a building’s energy use. In addition to performing all EIS attributes, EMS often includes several HVAC optimization and control strategies, adaptive lighting controls and alert notification diagnostics.
