We invite your feedback on the draft Energy Trust of Oregon 2015 annual budget and 2015-2016 action plan through November 19, 2014.
The budget will guide program and outreach strategies that help contractors, allies and customers complete projects that save energy and generate renewable power. View the draft budget, action plan and key dates for public input, including a live webinar with Executive Director Margie Harris on Wednesday, November 12.
The webinar presentation will include an overview of the draft budget and allow for discussion and questions—sign-up online for the webinar. We will also present the draft budget to our affiliated utilities, Conservation Advisory Council, Renewable Energy Advisory Council, the board of directors and the Oregon Public Utility Commission in November. The board of directors will review a final, proposed budget and action plan before it is submitted to the OPUC.
The budget and action plan are developed collaboratively with Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural and Cascade Natural Gas to deliver least-cost energy efficiency as part of their long-term resource plans. In addition, the budget supports development of small-scale generation from a variety of renewable energy resources for PGE and Pacific Power. Projects and actions resulting from our plans will save money on participant utility bills, reduce carbon emissions and improve local economies.
Comments on the draft budget and action plan are accepted until November 19 by emailing info@energytrust.org, or mailing or submitting them in person to Energy Trust, 421 SW Oak St., Suite 300, Portland, OR 97204.
