Each year, Energy Trust adjusts incentives to ensure cost-effective energy savings for Oregon and Southwest Washington utility customers.
To simplify the documentation, particularly for trade allies who participate in multiple Energy Trust programs, here is a summary of all available Energy Trust incentive changes for 2016. New Homes and commercial lighting incentive changes will be announced in January.

Residential appliance incentive changes effective January 1, 2016

To receive 2015 incentives, customers must have purchased or recycled their appliances by December 31, 2015, and must apply within 60 days of purchase or recycling date.

Commercial lighting incentive changes effective February 1, 2016
The 2016 Lighting Tool and 190L lighting incentives list will be released just prior to the 2016 Commercial and Industrial Lighting Trade Ally Sessions in January. The new Lighting Tool will be required for all new projects submitted on or after February 1, 2016. Until the new 2016 Lighting Tool is released, trade allies should continue using the current version.

New Homes EPSTM available in Washington on February 1, 2016
Energy Trust is expanding EPS™ incentives to include builders in SW Washington beginning February 1, 2016.
The following options are for illustration only and are a small fraction of the options available to trade ally builders for improving a home’s EPS and maximizing energy savings. Incentives are available for building gas-heated homes based on one of five prescriptive pathways, or based on a sliding scale of performance above code, starting at 10 percent improvement. Incentives will vary depending on energy-efficiency improvements.
