Energy Trust of Oregon has substantially increased the gas tankless water heater incentive for new homes that are not otherwise participating in the EPS New Construction offer.
To qualify, new homes must be in Oregon and primarily heat water with natural gas provided by NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas or Avista. Customers must purchase and install a qualifying tankless water heater in a qualifying new home by December 31, 2024. Hybrid and propane water heaters do not qualify.
Builders or their water heater installers may be eligible for one of two incentive amounts, depending on whether the home qualifies as affordable, rural* or tribal, or if the builder is registered with the Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID).
