Energy Trust updates incentives on January 1 of each year. The following changes will be effective January 1, 2018, and only apply to the New Homes program. Please note that any incentives not listed below will remain at current 2017 levels:
- EPS™ — The incentive range for EPS will be adjusted for 2018. The new incentive structure calculates improvements over the 2017 Oregon Residential Specialty Code, which goes into effect January 1, 2018. Homes may still qualify under the 2017 incentive structure if preliminary project information is submitted by March 31, 2018. All projects submitted on or after April 1, 2018 will be subject to the new incentive structure.
- Heat pump water heater Tier 1—The $400 Tier 1 heat pump water heater incentive offered to homes not receiving an EPS will be discontinued after 2017.
- Heat pump water heater Tier 2—The $500 Tier 2 heat pump water heater incentive offered to homes not receiving an EPS will be discontinued after 2017.
- Ductless heat pump—The $400 ductless heat pump incentive offered to homes not receiving an EPS will be discontinued after 2017.
- Gas tank water heater—The $100 gas tank water heater incentive offered to homes not receiving an EPS will be discontinued after 2017.
- Tankless gas water heater—The $250 tankless gas water heater incentive offered to homes not receiving an EPS will be discontinued after 2017.
