Energy Trust of Oregon wants to remind active Existing Buildings, New Buildings, Business Lighting, and Multifamily trade allies of the status of the $200,000 Commercial Business Development Funds budget.

Commercial BDF has currently reimbursed $190,244.83 out of the $200,000 total 2026 budget.

Active Commercial trade allies are eligible to receive up to $3,000 in reimbursement through the Commercial BDF offer. Trade ally firms that are COBID certified, located in rural areas, or minority, veteran or women-owned businesses are eligible for up to $4,000 in reimbursement for qualifying marketing and other business development expenses.

All BDF projects and training reimbursements require pre-approval. Pre-approval confirms project and training eligibility but does not reserve funds. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that final invoices must be submitted within 60 days of pre-approval and within 15 days of release of marketing projects or training/event dates.
