Energy Trust has become aware that Carrier/Bryant has issued a recall on a limited number of ductless heat pump models sold between March 2015 and April 2019.

More detail on the recall can be found here. The recalled models include the following outdoor unit model numbers:

Carrier and Bryant are ready with a field-installed solution that they are supporting for every unit that was sold:

• If the unit was registered by the customer or their installing contractor, the customer and the Carrier/Bryant Dealer will be notified by Carrier/Bryant.
• For units not registered to a customer, Airefco will work with the dealer that purchased the unit to identify and notify the customer.
