The Energy Trust Existing Single Family and Attached Residential Specifications Manual articulates Energy Trust’s requirements for qualifying HVAC, weatherization and water heater installations. This manual is intended to ensure the safety, durability, and energy efficiency of customers comes and provide valuable technical resources to installers.
The new updated Specifications Manual contains minor changes that will be highlighted during the monthly Specification Manual training. Examples of relevant changes include:
- Changes from Existing Multifamily to Attached Residential (i.e. townhomes, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes.) which will follow all existing homes specifications
- The addition of indoor unit installation guidelines for heat pumps
- Additional updates and changes
Trade Allies and contractors should be aware of these changes and may choose to attend one of the monthly trainings as a refresher. Trainings are held the third Thursday of each month and can be found on the Energy Trust Insider Calendar.
