Areas that typically saw mild summer temperature experienced day time highs exceeding those of Las Vegas.\nPortland’s summer design temperature is 86F. It’s clear that using 86F as a design temp would result in unsatisfied customers and maybe a few lawsuits. What design temperatures should be used\, and will the capacity of the air conditioner be at the selected design temperature? The manual is revised and published once a year and articulates Energy Trust of Oregon’s requirements for measure installations in detached single-family houses. This webinar will explain how projects are reviewed by the program through Quality Assurance visits\, how to avoid common causes of corrective actions\, and other tips for ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the specifications. \nThis webinar is 2 hours long. Attendance is a prerequisite to enrolling in the trade ally network but all contractors performing work for Energy Trust customers are welcome and encouraged to participate. \nCost: Free
