DESCRIPTION:Energy Trust will hold the Spring Trade Ally Forums on April 11 in Portland\, April 13 in Medford and April 14 in Bend. \nThe forums will focus on topics most relevant to residential\, Multifamily and Solar trade allies\, but are open to trade allies who participate in any Energy Trust programs. They are a great way to stay up to date on Energy Trust incentives and plans. There will opportunities to network with vendors\, ask questions and provide feedback directly to Energy Trust staff.

DESCRIPTION:Course Description: \n\nThe Solar PV Systems Best Practices & Energy Trust Installation Guidelines course will provide participants with knowledge of the industry’s current best practices and Energy Trust of Oregon’s current installation requirement to ensure consistent and uniform installations for Photovoltaic (PV) systems. The course will be focused on the current products\, safety practices and installation requirements. The course is intended for code electrical contractors\, solar installers\, building officials\, engineers and designers and to better understand current installation best practices and Energy Trust Installation requirements.\nThe 2014 NEC course will provide participants with knowledge of the NEC requirements to ensure consistent and uniform installation and inspection methods for Photovoltaic (PV) systems. The course will be focused on the changes to the 2014 National Electrical Code that affect PV system installations.\n\nContinuing Education Credits: Energy Trust Installation Guidelines course offers 4 hours of Code Related credits with Oregon BCD and the following NABCEP CEUs: 4 hours.
